Graffiti Removal
Graffiti Response offers a number of approaches that can be tailored to suit each client. The best approach takes into account the nature of the damage, the type of surface, the frequency with which the site is damaged and the cost of restoration. 12 Month Service Option
If a site is experiencing an on ongoing graffiti problem, we may recommend a 12-month service agreement. This is the most economical option if the site is damaged more than a few times throughout the year. As soon as new graffiti appears, you simply report it to our office and we will restore the surface within 48 hours, where possible. This fast and ongoing response is the best way to reduce the number of times a property is damaged. When the 12-month service agreement is due for renewal, we will reassess the work that was carried out during the past year. The cost for the following year renewal is determined according to the gravity and frequency of damage as responded to during the previous year. If a noted improvement has been made in the number of times the property was damaged, we will offer a reduction in price to renew the service. Exterior Cleaning
Exterior cleaning is possible on a wide range of surfaces such as concrete, sandstone, brick, paving, metal, timber, plastic, tiles, painted surfaces and glass.

If a particular surface is experiencing a high incidence of damage, we may recommend the use of an anti-graffiti protecting coating. This protects the surface from environmental wear and tear, as well as the effects of constant cleaning. Protective coatings are best suited to porous surfaces such as concrete, sandstone, marble and brick. These surfaces are more sensitive to cleaning chemicals and processes, as the solvents tend to wash the pigments into the substrate rather than removing them. Protective coatings are indispensable to wall murals and other outdoor art. After application, a specialised graffiti remover solvent is used to clean the surface. If you are considering this option we recommend you speak with a qualified consultant as there are a number of sacrificial and non-sacrificial coatings available with a great variation in performance and cost. There are two types of coatings currently available:
- Non-sacrificial Coatings
These coatings tend to provide a tough clear finish with minimum effect on the colour and texture of the substrate. They are easy to clean, have very good chemical resistance and can be abrasion resistant. Surfaces are protected through several graffiti hits and subsequent removal. Non-sacrificial coatings work by obstructing the passage of liquids and solids into building material substrates, therefore making the substrates less absorptive.
- Sacrificial Coatings
Mould and mildew removal and prevention is important as mould spores can cause adverse health effects as well as increase the risk of accidents in pedestrian traffic. Graffiti Response ensures the area is contained to restrict spreading. The mould is treated and the dead mould removed. We strongly recommend the application of an appropriate mould inhibiting solution to prevent re-growth. Paint Stripping
Various techniques and products are available for paint stripping. We assess such factors as surface substrate, paint to be removed, environmental aspects and access issues. Taking these into consideration, we will recommend a particular process suitable for the area concerned. Tyre Mark Removal
Graffiti Response can significantly reduce the visibility of unsightly tyre marks. This not only makes the property more aesthetically pleasing but can save on the large cost of resurfacing. Smoke/Fire Damage Cleaning and Restoration
